WesternU's ZWEACC/SCASV teamed up with VACS for a rabbit trap-neuter-return project at Long Beach City College. Volunteers helped with anesthesia and recovery, kennel cleaning, cleaning/autoclaving packs, and providing lots of TLC! This group effort successfully trapped-neutered-released over 80 rabbits.

SCASV is accepting donations of the following items:

Blankets Towels
Wire crates Dog and cat carriers
Dog food Dog beds
Treats Leashes
Collars Flea medicine
Bleach KMR kitten formula
Kitty Litter Newspapers
Pet carriers Fur brushes
Dog Shampoo Laundry detergent
Peanut butter


We will be dividing the donated items to the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society and Priceless Pets rescue in Chino Hills. Donations will be accepted throughout the school year and can be dropped off in our collection bin located in the northwest corner of CVM building atdium.
